Our Mission

Our MissionCanada In Prayer is committed to uniting, encouraging and equipping believers in effective prayer, intercession and fasting for the nation of Canada, resulting in the spiritual transformation of Canada for the glory of Almighty God.

Through our various ministry tracks, CIP aims to help the Canadian body of Christ become even more fruitful in bringing in the harvest across the nation.

 

Canada In Prayer Ministry Tracks

Track 1:  CIP Online Prayer Community - Provides intercessors with a strategic prayer guide and information via website resources and a First Friday prayer e-newsletter.

Track 2:  Preparing for the Harvest Seminar – Equips churches for strategic prayer-driven evangelism.

Track 3:  The Proclaiming Jesus Tour – Coast to coast presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Track 4:  The Canadian Prayer Assembly – Provides a forum for corporate prayer and worship, while demonstrating the love and unity found in Jesus Christ to a skeptical post-modern society.

Track 5:  First Friday Prayer Groups & Meetings – Local believers, intercessors, pastors and leaders gather together in their churches/homes across the nation to cry out for Canada on the First Friday of every month.

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative, written Word of God.  (II Tim. 3:16-1)
  2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  (Matt. 28:19, II Cor. 13-14)
  3. We believe that the universe originated by the creative act of God, as revealed in Holy Scripture, and that the form of every kind of life was fixed at the time of its creation.  (Gen. 1:1, John 1:1-3)
  4. We believe in the true deity & humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His pre-existence, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future visible return in power & glory.  (Col. 1:13-20, John 1:14)
  5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man.  (John 14:6, I Tim. 2:5)
  6. We believe that all men are lost and sinful, and that salvation is received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the act of regeneration of life by the Holy Spirit of God.  (Rom. 3:23-26, Tit.3:5)
  7. We believe that through the present indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life, and that every believer should practice the holiness that God requires.  (Rom. 8:1-17, Tit.2:11-14, 1 Peter 1:16)
  8. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost, unto the resurrection of damnation.  (John 5:24-25, 28-29)
  9. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.  (John 17:20-23, I Cor. 12:12-13)
  10. We believe that participation in the task of fulfilling the Great Commission is an obligation for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:16-20)
  11. We recognize that there are other doctrines held by various Christian believers which they believe to be consistent with the above. However, such teachings shall not be incorporated as approved by the organization.
