PRAISE REPORTS:
- Celebrate God’s mercy for a Vancouver intercity ministry that began in 2006 ministering to the homeless. They have reported countless testimonies of family restoration, healings and deliverances throughout the years and they couldn’t have done it without prayer!
- Praise God for an opportunity a pastor in Toronto had to speak to a grade 10 class about living a life of sexual purity. 22 out of 27 kids gave their lives to the Lord!
- Give God the glory for youth attendance at The Movement in Windsor on April 26th. One report shared that close to 80 people traveled from Illinois, Michigan for the event.
- Praise God for a Hamilton City Wide Prayer Group that has faithfully prayed for their city. They reported that certain areas of the city have seen improvements in local businesses. Even the newspapers have reported on the improvements under the headline “Born-Again”! God we give you the glory for answered prayer for our cities – Prayer makes the change!
- Give Jesus the praise for the over 100 decisions for Jesus Christ at the Epicentre Youth Rally in Cambridge,ON on April 21st. The attendance was full and praise God for the discipleship process on right now!
- Praise God for the work He is doing at a downtown Toronto Mission as they celebrate 70 years of service on May 5th! Many lives have been transformed through the dedication and prayer of the staff.
- Give God the glory for the men that were ministered to through Promise Keepers on March 30 & 31st at the Brother’s and Basic Training Workshop held in Cobourg, ON and at the Built for Battle Conference in Regina, SK. Many men came forward for salvation and others were set free!
- Praise Jesus for the 42 men that attended the Purity Workshop on April 21st in Sauble Beach,ON, the Spirit of God worked on each man’s heart impacting lives to the next generation!
- Thank God for the 36 men who attended the Promise Keeper’s Man2Man Seminar in Grande Prairie, AB, who actively entered into the training and equipping time to live out the Great Commandment to love God with all heart, soul and mind. Men witnessed and mentored to one another as the Holy Spirit worked to break strongholds of silence and isolation.
- Praise God for the attendance of over 800 men who gathered in Ottawa for the PK Built for Battle Conference on April 20 -21st. The prayer and intercessory teams were kept busy with requests for prayer and many received answers to prayer. Praise filled the auditorium as men sang together drawing many into the presence of God!
- Give God the Glory for the latest House of Prayer to open in Canada, Peel Regional House of Prayer opened it’s doors this year. Praise God for the vision to capture the heart and vision of God for our communities! Pray that Houses of Prayer will continue to increase until every region of this nation is covered by a banner of prayer!
- Praise God the determination of one First Nations woman who staked the land for the Lord on Lennox Island, off P.E.I. and prayed for a house of the Lord. In April, several local Pastors and a representative from the National House of Prayer was there to dedicate the building for the work of the Lord!
- Give God the glory that organizers reported that Missionfest Toronto in April was a huge success and all the details ran smoothly thanks to the faithfulness of all those who volunteered, participated and prayed for the event. The ENGAGE Youth night was packed in attendance and youth were stirred up with a hunger for more of God!
Prayer-Driven Evangelism
- Cry out for the Youth attending YC Alberta Youth Conference on May 25th – 27th in Edmonton. Pray that God will draw in youth of all ages, from all walks of life who have not heard the gospel message of Christ. Pray for God’s Holy Spirit to have full reign and fill every speaker and anoint every worship band with the presence of the Lord. Pray for God’s power and God’s purpose to be downloaded into every heart in attendance. Pray for the Spirit of adoption to be released and drawing every heart to surrender and receive the gift of eternal salvation. Pray that every youth will make a commitment to Christ.
Prayer For The Next Generation
- Lift in prayer a ministry team who has developed the Family Blessing Initiative that will bless families and help rebuild the walls of marriages and families. Pray for God’s blessing upon this new project and pray for the families it will impact that they will be rebuilt and restored according to the blessings of Abraham, affecting the next generations.
Prayer Requests
Prince Edward Island
- Pray for God to raise up and release men and women to reach out to the community with the love of Christ. Ask God to pour out His Spirit on the churches of PEI and pray that God will draw the youth of PEI to the Lord. Cry out for revival to break out in their hearts. Pray for leaders and pastors that they will lean fully on the Lord and commit every area of ministry to Him. (Isaiah 26:4)
New Brunswick
- Intercede with believers at a prayer gathering in St. Andrew’s on May 10th and pray that their hearts will be stirred with a greater passion to see souls saved for the Kingdom of God. Pray for God to bring His people to a greater level of intimacy with Him and the gifts of the Holy Spirit will be poured out liberally on His children.
Nova Scotia
- Intercede for the participants attending the 2012 Atlantic Vineyard Regional Conference, in Halifax on May 4th – 5th that they will have an empowering encounter with the Holy Spirit.
- Pray for the men attending the Men’s Advance Weekend on May 25th in Dartmouth that they will yield themselves over to the Holy Spirit and allow God’s light to shine through them. Pray that they will passionately hold fast to the Word of Life. (Philippians 2:15-16)
Newfoundland & Labrador
- Intercede for the Freedom in Christ Conference on May 18th 19th in St. John’s that the participants will focus on the Lord fully in this season. Cry out for bondage’s to be released off their lives and that they will experience Christ lifting off every weight. Pray that they will grow in love, knowledge, and insight and pray that they will be filed with the fruit of righteousness through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:9-10)
Quebec
- Cry out for the peoples of Quebec that God will break off self-sufficiency and pray that they will be able to distinguish their dire need for Him and thirst for more. (Isaiah 41:7)
- Pray for prayer groups, and intercessors who have been crying out for revival in Quebec that God will strengthen and encourage them to continue to pray and contend in the Spirit what the Lord will do in Quebec. Declare that the rivers will revival will flow through the streets of Montreal.
Manitoba
- Lift in prayer World Vision’s Annual Church Leaders Forum on May 3rd in Winnipeg. Pray that the Lord will give creative ideas and strategies for the speakers as they share how to build effective youth programs and equip churches with the resources to serve youth in ministry. Pray for the participants that will be accelerated and propelled with new ideas to reach the gospel to the youth across Manitoba.
Saskatchewan
- Pray for a First Nations Church in Saskatoon that God will pour out His Spirit upon them. Pray that they will be passionate and zealous for the Lord and that apathy will be broken off them. (Revelations 3:14-15) Pray for unity in the church body and pray that new believers will be added to the church daily according to Acts 2:47.
Alberta
- Cry out for the men attending the PK Brother and Basic Training Workshops in Calgary on May 4th – 5th and pray that they will have a desire to be their brother’s keeper and be spiritual armor bearers for the battles they face. Pray that the men will be humble and open so they can apply the truth of being a Godly man.
- Cover in prayer a peaceful march for the Alberta March for Life on May 17th in Edmonton. Pray that this march will open eyes to the sanctity of life and raise public awareness about pro-life issues.
- Pray for the participants attending the CHEC National Forum For Christ and His Kingdom on May 28th – 30th in Edmonton that they will gain a deeper knowledge of Christ and a Christ centered worldview. Pray that God will raise up ambassadors for Christ who will effectively reach all peoples in every sphere of life.
British Columbia
- Pray for the men attending the Ignite Men’s Conference in Cranbrook on May 5th that their hearts will be ignited with a passion for more of God in their lives and a desire to commit fully to live out pure and holy lives.
- Lift in prayer a Full Gospel Breakfast on May 12th and agree in prayer with them as they cry out corporately for those in places of authority. Pray that God will pour out His Spirit on the west coast!
Nunavut
- Pray for men and women in Nunavut to rise up in boldness of faith and setting an example to believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. Cry out for God’s people to follow after God’s heart and move only by the word of the Lord. (1 Timothy 4:12)
Northwest Territories
- Lift up the peoples of NWT and cry out according to Ephesians 1:18 that the eyes of their heart will be enlightened that they will know the hope to which they have been called and the riches of God’s glorious inheritance to the saints.
Yukon Territories
- Pray for God’s presence to empower His people as the gather for Watchmen on the Wall Prayer Meetings in Whitehorse. Pray that they will know that they are not alone standing in the gap but that they are joined together in power and spirit with intercessors across Canada.
Ontario
- Agree in prayer with a group of Pastors meeting in the greater area of Toronto on May 3rd as they meet together for corporate prayer. Ask the Lord to bless their time as they prioritize their time to seek Him together, and bring unity to the church body across Toronto and across the province. Pray that their prayers will be heard and answered for the Glory of God. (2 Chronicles 30:27)
- Intercede for the city of Mississauga and the GTA for God’s protection against the deeds of darkness as over 300 Witches/Warlocks/Spiritualists meet in the city on May 4th – 5th for 72 hours to curse the city. Plead the Blood of Jesus over Mississauga and the greater Toronto cities. (Revelations 12:10-11)
- Pray for an evening service and special speaker in Kinburn on May 4th focusing on Pursuing His Presence. Pray that they will seek after the Lord like the Psalmist David and behold His beauty. (Psalm 27:4)
- Intercede with believers as they gather in prayer and stand in the gap for the Greater area of Toronto on May 5th. Believe and petition the Lord that revival will come upon the city.
- Pray for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of a Toronto City Mission in Scarborough on May 5th that the day will be blessed as God is honoured for His faithfulness in providing over the years. Pray that the Mission will receive provision of clothing for men, women, and children as they pour out God’s love in tangible ways.
- Agree in prayer with a city wide prayer gathering for Hamilton and the greater area as believers join together in prayer on May 6th. Pray that there will be greater unity and fellowship among believers. Pray for the wells of revival to spring up in Hamilton like it did in the days when Phoebe Palmer spoke and many gave their hearts to the Lord.
- Intercede for a conference in Waterloo called “My House will be Called a House of Prayer” on May 4th – 6th. Pray for God to restore total truth to the church and restore the passionate heart of God to the church for revival.
- Lift up the speakers for the “Thinking Shrewdly V Conference” on May 10th – 12th and pray that they will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as they communicate strategies and ways to effectively communicate the good news of the gospel in Canada.
- Pray for the youth and young adults meeting in Brampton on May 18th for a rally & concert. Pray for God’s blessings upon the evening and for the bonds of friendships to be strengthened among the youth.
- Intercede for a group of intercessors heading to Ottawa to spend time in prayer at the National House of Prayer from May 21st – 25th. Pray for the Lord to reveal Himself to them in a powerful way and refresh His saints. Agree in prayer with them as they petition God for the nation in one accord. (Philippians 4:6)
Canada
- Lift in prayer the National March for Life in Ottawa on May 10th and pray for a good turnout to this year’s event. Pray for God’s protection and pray that eyes will be opened to the sanctity of life. Intercede for the Pro-Life Youth Conference on May 11th and pray that the next generation that will say Yes to life and No to abortion. Pray that God will raise up young men & women that are taught not by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths according to 1 Corinthians 2:13.
- Celebrate the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday on May 27th! Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the continuation of Pentecost that God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and sons and daughters will prophesy. Pray that people will thirst for more of the Living God and taste and see that the Lord is good! (Acts 2:17, Eph. 5:17-18)
- Pray for all levels of our governments that they will stand for righteousness and lead and conduct in wisdom and integrity. (1Timothy 2:1-2) Lift up the bills that have been up for debate in the House of Commons that our children and the most vulnerable will be protected in Canada – pray that God’s Kingdom will come, and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
- Pray for our Prime Minister that he will continue to affirm Canada’s stand with Israel and refuse to allow anti-Semitism to be tolerated in our nation. Pray for protection for Israel that they will be safe on all their borders.
