I pray that you are flourishing in the rain of the Holy Spirit during this season, even as the spring rains fall in the natural!

Warriors in the trench, I know this month has been a challenging one for some of you as Almighty God continues to uproot strongholds and prepare us for a continuation of Pentecost in our lives and congregations. Most of us seem to have that one problem area where we continue to battle, don’t we? But this is exactly where Almighty God wants us – on our knees!

I am reminded of what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:8-10; “Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Friends, there are certain times when we must press through and gain the victory, and there are other times when God, in His sovereignty, says “No, this is good for you right now. I know it’s difficult, but this is accomplishing my greater purpose in your life.” Paul exhorted us in Romans 5:2-5, “And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” If we want to see God’s glory, we have to go through the “gory”! But, it is that process that produces character and a greater dependence upon God within us. It’s the things that we struggle with on a regular basis, those things we can’t seem to shake, that keep us on our faces and teach us what “praying without ceasing” really means (1 Thessalonians 5:17). As believers in Christ we have no other choice – no other salvation and deliverance – but to cry out to Him, and as we cry out, we find ourselves drawing nearer and nearer to the cross and to Him as he pours out His love into our hearts by His Spirit. Be encouraged as you’re reminded of 2 Corinthians 12 – His grace is sufficient for you! Don’t forget, intercessors, we have an advocate; a divine Paraclete, whose job is to intercede for us, to teach us, to remind us of everything that Jesus has said, to mold and shape us more and more into the likeness of Christ, and to perfect His strength in our weakness. He may not remove us from the situation, but He will most certainly bring us through! He likes us when we’re weak, because then and only then can His power rest upon us as we continually depend on and cling to Him.

Fellow intercessors, remember the promise that Paul assured us of, that “hope does not disappoint”! As we place our hope in Him through every trial, continuing to cry out for our loved ones, churches, communities and this nation, and for the wisdom and strength to continue to do His will, we will see the promise come to pass – His kingdom come and His will being done in our lives and in everything around us, as He has already done it in heaven! So, in this growing process, let’s stand on Romans 5:2 and “rejoice in hope of the glory of God”, for HE inside of YOU is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Our hope rests in knowing that “…our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” Keep crying out and keep trusting – with Christ as the senior partner and you as the junior, you won’t be disappointed!

In His Strength,

What sense could there be in the apostolic direction to appoint men “full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom” if His fullness marks all Christians? While there is mystery in the mode of the Spirit’s Presence, it’s perfectly clear that His work is not static but ongoing and repeated”.

Greetings Canada’s Kneeling Comrades,

I pray that this letter finds you prospering and abiding in the all-sufficient grace of Almighty God as we prepare to go into our prayer closets and prayer gatherings, praying with fasting, this First Friday of May 2012.

We at CIP thank Almighty God for each of you who faithfully sacrifice precious time and energy praying with fasting for the spiritual transformation of our beloved Canada. As we purposefully march toward Pentecost, let us shift our focus from the ‘empty tomb’ to the Ascension. Warriors, have you ever wondered what makes an ordinary, obscure person like you and I a powerful weapon in the hands of God? James 5:17 -18 gives us a clear answer; “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.” Intercessors, this account of Elijah allows us to glean a few powerful lessons on prayer and the biblical model of breakthrough. Elijah was passionate in prayer, and he prayed the word of God into natural reality; he prayed with faith, and he impacted a nation. Andrew Murray writes, “The powers of the eternal world have been placed at prayer’s disposal. It is the very essence of true religion, the channel of blessing, the secret of power and life.” “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.” “He prayed earnestly” – exact translation; “He prayed in prayer.” This was a prayer of tears, whispers and shouts, walking up and down, body pressed to the ground, fists clenched. Earnest prayer is dangerous! It is a bridge between interest and involvement; it is a springboard. He did not take a nonchalant attitude toward his prayer life, but he prayed with fervency. His soul was moved with the need of the people. He felt the pressure of the thing he prayed for. May the Church in Canada regain the desire for availing, fervent prayer!

The purpose of prayer is to bring us to the same place that God is already at in regard to our request. “Elijah the Promise Claimer” – the ear of faith hears what the eyes of the flesh can’t see! When an intercessor reaches the place where the world is shut out, they can hear God. Blessed are the people who don’t have to see to believe. John 20:29, “Jesus said to him, ‘Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’” Elijah was a man who believed the promises of God. He believed them so much that he was willing to claim them and live in them.

Kneeling comrades, there are two types of promises in the Bible that must be claimed in Jesus’ Name. The conditional promise has conditions attached that we must meet. Matthew 21:22 says, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” If that promise is going to work for us, then we must pray in absolute faith. It is conditional. The unconditional promise is given in Psalm 119:105, which says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” James 5:17 -18, “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit”. Elijah was a man who not only believed the promises of God, he unleashed the power of God as he claimed the purpose of God! Charles Spurgeon said, “Prayers are the believer’s weapons of war. When the battle is too hard for us, we call in our great ally who, as it were, lies in ambush until faith gives the signal by crying out, ‘ARISE O LORD!!’ Prayer is the slender nerve which unleashes the muscles of an omnipotent God”.

We at Canada In Prayer take great delight in serving as facilitators of prayer and intercession across this amazing nation. It is exciting to hear in real time what Almighty God is doing in Canada through the phone calls and emails and blogs on our interactive CIP website prayer forum and social media pages. Join us as we prepare for the Global Day of Prayer on May 27, 2012 (Pentecost Sunday). Beginning on Ascension Day, millions of Christians will find ways to pray night and day throughout the ten days leading up to Pentecost, following the pattern of Christ’s followers before the first Pentecost. Ten days of Constant Prayer: A Prayer Guide will focus on the Holy Spirit – a promise from the Father (http://www.globaldayofprayer.com/10days_prayer.html). On Pentecost Sunday, Christians in almost every country will assemble to pray. Many will gather in small groups such as prayer cells, homes, local churches, businesses, and some may even assemble in large stadiums and other public venues. In various places, television, radio and internet will help to connect and align our prayers even more. Once again the Body of Christ will be united by a Prayer for the World (http://www.globaldayofprayer.com/prayer.html). If you are in the Greater Toronto Area, please join me at The Hope Centre (www.thcchurch.net), in the Empire Theatre in Square One Mall, Mississauga, ON, on Sunday, May 27th at 10:00 am, where I will be hosting a GDOP assembly. I look forward to seeing you there!

To Pentecost and Beyond,

I pray that you are appropriating the power of His Resurrection as we celebrate this Easter season – He is risen!!

As we remember Christ’s victory over sin and the grave, it reminds us that Almighty God desires to break strongholds off of our own lives and within His body that have hindered us from being fruitful in His Kingdom. I have been reflecting on one of the things that seems to battle so many believers, as it has myself personally in the past, and that is CONDEMNATION. The Holy Spirit has given me a revised plan of defense to combat this stronghold, and I have an indignation in my spirit to fully expel that lie! The Word of God firmly declares, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:1-3) Condemnation is one of the greatest weapons of the accuser of the brethren. We know according to God’s Word that we are not eternally condemned, but we have an accuser who loves to fool us into thinking that we have somehow disqualified ourselves from the relationship and the inheritance that God has promised us. But Jesus DIED for this very purpose! If the laying down of His life wasn’t enough to prove to us that nothing can separate us from His love, then what is??

So often we view condemnation as an attack of the enemy – “the devil is bringing condemnation against me” – but as I was wrestling with it, the Holy Spirit showed me something so ground-breakingly obvious! Condemnation is actually UNBELIEF…and PRIDE! Our limited faith causes us to believe that somehow God’s mercy is not enough for our sin or failure, and our pride makes us think that our issues or sins are greater than God’s mercy! But the Word declares that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus – and we know that we are saved by faith, not by works so that we can’t boast in our own selves (Ephesians 2:8-9). Condemnation does not merely come at us from the external, but succumbing to condemnation is merely a sign that we have a faith deficiency and a self-sufficiency!

Ok, I know, I’m saying “ouch” right along with you! But instead of condemning yourself for allowing yourself to feel condemned, let the truth empower you! Because condemnation is internal, we can do something about it. We have power over the enemy, but we also have power over our own flesh! We may not be able to stop Satan from attempting to hit us with condemnation, but the way we choose to respond as soon as we hear the lie will determine the outcome. What did I do when the Holy Spirit showed me the real source of the problem? I repented, and then I started worshiping!! I reminded myself of who God is and of His character – He is rich in mercy, slow to anger and abounding in love. His mercies are new every morning. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. My sins could not possibly go beyond His reach, because He is far greater than I am! Allowing condemnation to hit us cripples us, hinders us from doing what God has called us to do and is counter-productive, so we would be erring even more if we allowed ourselves to come under it! Receiving His mercy and simply asking for His help to turn from our wrong will please God far more than wallowing in the despair of it. Condemnation (unbelief and pride) is sin, and we don’t have to keep walking in it! Yes, repentance is vital and necessary, but it is pointless if we do not receive the mercy that we are asking for once we repent. It’s like going to the emergency room and begging for an antidote to our illness, but then not taking the prescription that will cure it!

Friends, this is the season to stir up our faith, remind ourselves of how awesome our God is and what His Word declares about Him, and walk in confidence. We are not victims, we are victors through His victory on the cross. If we stand steadfast in our faith, believing and declaring who He is, and continue to humble ourselves before Him, we will immunize ourselves against condemnation! Instead of dwelling on our own failures and short-comings, let’s keep our focus on our Saviour whom we’re celebrating, remembering Isaiah’s song of salvation; “You will keep him in perfect peace,?whose mind is stayed on You,?because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Immunized By Faith,

Greetings Canada’s Kneeling Comrades,

I pray that you are prospering in your corner of our beloved Canadian vineyard even as your souls prosper in the Lord.

As we prepare to go into our prayer closets and prayer gatherings, praying with fasting this First Friday April 2012, I encourage you to recalibrate your faith. Friends this First Friday, “Good Friday,” represents the day death died, the very day death committed suicide by daring to take on the ‘Living God’ (1 Corinthians 15:54-57), the day our Saviour and Lord declared from Calvary’s Cross with a loud voice, ”It is Finished”, “tetelestai” (John 19:30). Let us join in the multitude of voices declaring victory: It is finished; the ceremonial law is abolished; the substance is now come, and all the shadows are done away. It is finished; an end is made of transgression by bringing in an everlasting righteousness. His sufferings are now finished, both those of his soul, and those of his body. It is finished; the work of man’s redemption and salvation is now completed. Wow, what a Saviour and King! Yet with this wonderful, glorious truth we, in our humanity, struggle in our intercession when we don’t see in the natural what we are believing God for in the spirit realm.

Today, I would like to turn our attention to an account where an intercessor’s prayer was answered but God was silent. Which begs the question, “What do you do when you’re in a hurry and it doesn’t appear that God is?” Daniel 10:12-13, “Then said he to me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and response to] your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, for I remained there with the kings of Persia.” Many times our prayers are delayed because demonic activity has interfered with the answer. While we are waiting, we get discouraged and give up. But Jesus said, “Don’t Give up!” Luke 18:1, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint…”

When we pray, it reaches through a world of spirits and the devil is always working to stop any good thing from getting through. God answers immediately when we pray, but it may take time for the answer to reach the seen world. Prayer answers always take time. But the sad truth is that many faint before the answer gets there. Demonic assault thrives because of a lack of understanding of spiritual warfare. 2 Corinthians 2:11, “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” We all realize that the devil does not want you and I to have the Abundant Life that Jesus came to give us. That is why the Apostle Paul reminds us about the armour of God, and started by saying in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”. The Apostle Paul also said while praying, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) We don’t have to see a demon under every bush, but neither are we to be unaware that the devil is a deceiver and if we are not conscious of his devices we will be taken advantage of every time. We have absolute victory over the power of Satan according to the Word of God (Luke 10:19), and by the same word we are given the power to bind and loose opposition when prayer is hindered. God will always give one of three answers – yes, no or wait – but He always answers. Don’t give Up!!!

Tetelestai,

I pray that you are walking in the assurance that our God is on your side!

Friends, even as the enemy is trying harder than ever to thwart the purposes of God in our lives and within the body in Canada, in this season it is so important that we continue to trust the Lord and remain in our disciplines. When the storms of the enemy rock our boats, our only anchor is the Word, prayer, worship, and service! I have watched the enemy try to take out many a saint in this season as he brings in anxiety, discouragement, and even an attitude that says, “Forget it, I’m just not going to try anymore.” Soldiers in the trench, don’t be deceived! We’ve received our breakthrough in the past by pressing in and pressing through – don’t give up now! The truth is, the same things we did to gain victory before are the very things that we have to continue to do with even greater fervor in this season.

“But I’m so tired!” you say? Remember the encouragement of the Lord in Hebrews 10:35-36, 39; “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised…we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.” Remember His promise to protect us from the schemes of the enemy (Psalm 91). Friends, even if you have been distant and have fallen out of your spiritual “exercise regimes”, don’t fear and don’t be condemned. Almighty God heard the prayer of King Hezekiah when the people of Israel and the kings before him had wandered from God and abandoned the temple of the Lord to serve other gods; “But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, ‘May the LORD, who is good, pardon everyone who sets his heart on seeking God—the Lord, the God of his fathers—even if he is not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary.’ And the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.” (2 Chronicles 30:18-20). God is not asking us to be perfect or to just do everything on the “list”; He is just looking for right hearts, that will turn back to Him and seek Him. As He calls us to re-dig the wells in our nation and our generation, He is looking for those who will return whole-heartedly and consecrate their hearts – His temple – to Him and to serving Him alone. When “self” rises up, that’s when we need to press in even more to worship, meditate on the Word, cry out to the Lord and submit ourselves to Him, and give ourselves to serving in His temple. All we have left may just be an ounce of strength and a crumb of faith, but Almighty God can work with that if we give it to Him!

Before King Hezekiah cleaned out the temple and called the people back, they had been far from the Lord for a long time and had forgotten His house and their service and sacrifice. But when God used Hezekiah to call them back, they came. Just come, intercessors! Heed the call of Almighty God and come, burdens, sin and all (Hebrews 10:19-23). The enemy would try to isolate us so he can keep us tired, defeated and wallowing in our own self-pity, but that’s when we need to re-connect ourselves with Jesus – the vine (John 15) – and with the body and find a place to love and to serve. In loving God and in our service, we will find our freedom.

Fellow labourers in the trench, just come this month, and give yourselves back to the Lord and to serving Him. Don’t let discouragement or your fleshly desires defeat you, but when the enemy presses, press in to the Lord even harder – HE LOVES YOU! He will hear and heal you. When the world is so present around you, get in to the presence! And remember His promise; “In your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11)

Pressing In,

- Leonard Ravenhill

Greetings Canada’s Kneeling Comrades,

I pray that you are prospering in your corner of our beloved Canadian vineyard even as your souls prosper in the Lord.

Comrades, Genesis 26:18 tells us, “And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.” This First Friday, I encourage you to do what Isaac did (the offspring of the father of faith) in order to receive what Isaac reaped; re-dig the ancient wells in Canada that the enemy has stopped up! Genesis 26:19; “And Isaac’s servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.” Remember that word ‘springing’ in the Hebrew means ‘living’. As we dig again these ancient wells, we will discover living water flowing out of them. Jesus said, “With God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) “With God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

Intercessors, faith begins with a total abandonment of oneself into God’s care, but our faith must be active, not passive. In short, faith says, “God is enough!” We must have full confidence that God can and will do the impossible. The Lord was making Isaac a man of faith by leading him into dry impossibility. He wanted to hear his servant say, “Father, you led me here, and you know best. So I’m going to stand still and believe you to do the impossible. As my father before me, I will put my life totally in your hands, fully trusting that you won’t allow me or my family to starve. I know we will be preserved because you promised, and I am the seed of Abraham!” Often our faith is not meant to get us out of a hard place or change our painful condition. Rather, it is meant to reveal God’s faithfulness to us in the midst of our situation. We simply can’t trust God powerfully until we experience faith in the midst of our trials. This was the case with the three Hebrew children. They saw Christ only when they were in the midst of the fiery furnace. And Daniel experienced God’s power and grace when he was thrust into the lions’ den. If they had suddenly been pulled out of their circumstances, they never would have known the full grace of God’s miracle-working power, and the Lord would not have been magnified before the ungodly. Today, God is doing the same thing. He wants to raise us above our trials, through faith, so we can say, “My God can do the impossible. He’s a deliverer, and he’s going to see me through!”

Eight Wells that must be Re-dug for Transformation

1. Re-dig the well of ‘the Holy Ghost!’ John 20:22; “And having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit!“ (Acts 1:2-8, Luke 24:49, John 14:15-18(26))

2. Re-dig the well of Repentance! Luke 13:3; “I tell you, No; but unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be lost eternally.” The word “repent” in Greek is “metanoeo”; to change one’s mind for the better. Not merely to forsake sin, but to change one’s attitude toward it and his love for it. (Matthew 3:7-8, Luke 3:8, 2 Corinthians 7:9-10)

3. Re-dig the well of Salvation! Acts 4:12; “And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.” (Isaiah 17:10, John 3:3-8)

4. Re-dig the well of Holiness! Hebrews 12:14; “Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.” (Romans 6:18-23, 12:1-2, Ephesians 5:1-11(27), 1 Peter 1:14-16, Psalm 93:5, 1 Thessalonians 4:7)

5. Re-dig the well of Forgiveness and Unity! Mark 11:25-26; “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.” (Matthew 6:14-15, Matthew 18:21-35, Luke 17:3-4, Psalm 133, Ephesians 4:3)

6. Re-dig the well of Divine Healing! Job 13:15 declares, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” (Psalm 18:2, Psalm 18:30, Isaiah 12:2-3, Mark 11:22, Luke 12:28-32, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 11:6, 10:38-39, Psalm 30:2, Psalm 107:19-20, Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:15-18)

7. Re-dig the well of the Rapture and of Heaven! 2 Peter 3:13; “But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.“ (Revelation 21:1-27, 22:1-14, John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55)

8. Re-dig the well of the Lake of Fire! Revelation 21:8; “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Isaiah 66:22-24, Mark 9:43-49, Matthew 13:40-50, Matthew 25:41-46, Revelation 20:10-15)

God has not changed with time; only man. As we dig again these ancient wells, we’ll find that they contain “living water.” This water is eternal and it doesn’t change. “For I am the Lord, I change not…” (Malachi 3:6) Friends, are you ready to get your spiritual shovels in the ground?

Re-Dig,

Henry Alline was only 35 years of age when he died of tuberculosis in 1784, but in his short span of life, he helped trigger a revival across the province of Nova Scotia. His passion and zeal for the Lord led the itinerant preacher to visit almost every settlement in Nova Scotia, parts of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and other small costal islands. He travelled by horseback, and sometimes by snowshoe, boat, or on foot, to preach the gospel to almost every part of Nova Scotia in his 10 years of ministry. This period in history was called the Great Awakening; it was a season of great revivalism throughout the colonies. It emphasized a greater importance on a personal experience of salvation through Christ then on church doctrine. Services were held outdoors, in homes and barns rather than in churches although he established many independent churches across rural Nova Scotia. These churches later became part of the Baptist movement in the East Coast. Alline received criticism for his preaching style and theological teaching, mainly from the church leaders; he didn’t give it much priority as he continued to meet with the rural pioneers on their own terms to preach the gospel. Alline preached repentance, holiness, and a conversion experience through Jesus Christ. Many leaders of the day tried to silence him but he shared his disapproval of them, rebuking the church leaders of being unsaved and dead preachers – he pushed himself even harder to preach the gospel.

With the impact of the American Rebellion and the severing of ties from New England, settlers of Nova Scotia suffered from anxiety and a great sense of uncertainty for the future. These were hard times and Alline’s simple message of salvation through Christ brought hope. One woman he impacted was Mary Bradley who heard Alline speak in Maugerville, NB. She had such a fevour for the revival to continue through her region that she left the bulk of her estate so that the itinerant ministry would continue in her area.

Henry Alline gave all of himself to the cause of Christ, though not formally educated in theological training; he was stirred only by the passion to see souls saved for the kingdom of God. On Alline’s tombstone it reads; “He was a burning and shining light and was justly esteemed the Apostle of Nova Scotia”.

I want to honour one of the first great revivalists of Canada. He deserves to be remembered as a man who sacrificed his life for the glory of God. In an entry in his journal he writes that he once traveled 30 miles by horseback in the driving rain to preach to a group. When he arrived he could barely stand but as he continued to sing and preach and soon experienced the Holy Spirit reviving him and giving him strength to continue. Even when he discovered that he had contracted tuberculosis and his health was rapidly deteriorating, he laboured even harder for the gospel.

Though his name may not be familiar, his fruits are well known in heaven. I once lived in Nova Scotia and there are many churches established there – thank God for men like Alline who gave themselves to the cause of the gospel. Faith is rich in the East Coast and I give God the glory for the legacy he has left behind. Many families are continuing on in their faith in Jesus Christ because of a man who brought the gospel to their fore-fathers over 230 years ago.
